The purpose of this competition is to both recognize quality beer being served in the great state of Tennessee AND to help educate consumers on what beers represent excellent examples of the styles as categorized by the BJCP.
Our Mission
In the ever growing craft beer market, the options of beer at the local Public House, Brewery Taproom, bottle shop, and grocery store is becoming delightfully overwhelming. With that comes difficulty in deciding which beer fits your needs and desires. This competition's mission is to provide some clarity in discerning excellent examples of the style from all the others. Our intentions are not to tell you what beer is good and which is bad, merely what experienced and certified beer judges deem to be the premiere examples of designated styles of beer
